Timberwolves Defeat Pacers Behind Edwards' 40-Point Performance
Anthony Edwards scores 40, Towns adds 28 in Minnesota's win
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Anthony Edwards scored 40 points and Karl-Anthony Towns added 28 as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Indiana Pacers 134-128 on Thursday night.
Edwards was efficient from the field, shooting 14 of 24, while Towns went 10 of 18. D'Angelo Russell also contributed with 19 points and 9 assists for the Timberwolves.
The Pacers were led by Tyrese Haliburton's 27 points and 8 assists. Buddy Hield added 22 points, and Myles Turner finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
The Timberwolves improved to 18-20 with the win, while the Pacers fell to 17-21.
